Groshens family, Bas-Rhin

Je recherche mes ancêtres paternels. Mon grand-grand-père était Louis G. Groshens, qui était June15 nés, 1868 dans Bas-Rhin, France. Je ne connais pas quelle ville il a été soutenue dedans. Le père de Louis était A. George Groshens, qui a été soutenu environ 1838 en France et a épousé Mary Loux. Je n'ai aucune autre information pour George ou Mary, toutefois il y a une image d'eux environ de 1877 en France sur le website de mon père à http://arvidkendall.ca (clic sur la Photo Gallery). On le croit que Louis s'est déplacé de France aux Etats-Unis à l'âge 11 avec un oncle à lui. Ils se sont établis au Minnesota, d'où Louis a continué pour épouser et avoir neuf enfants, un qui était Olive, ma grand-mère. I am searching for my paternal ancestors. My great-grandfather was Louis G. Groshens, who was born June15, 1868 in Bas-Rhin, France. I do not know what town he was born in. The father of Louis was A. George Groshens, who was born about 1838 in France and married Mary Loux. I do not have any other information for George or Mary, however there is a picture of them from about 1877 in France on my father’s website at http://arvidkendall.ca (click on Picture Gallery). It is believed that Louis moved from France to the United States at age 11 with an uncle of his. They settled in Minnesota, where Louis went on to marry and have nine children, one of whom was Olive, my grandmother.
